Winter Yoga Retreat

“Winter is a season of recovery and preparation.” – Paul Theroux

Join us for an extended day of yoga and meditation at the Rushton Conservation Center. Kristin Page and Rachael Hunter, renowned Yoga Instructors and dear friends of Willistown Conservation Trust, will lead us through morning and afternoon yoga practices, balanced by a chilly and mindful walk in the Rushton Woods Preserve and a farm-to-table lunch with treats and teas.

This retreat is suitable for all levels.
•  Please wear comfortable clothes for practice
•  Bring a yoga mat, any props (blocks or straps) you like to use, and a blanket
•  Bring a water bottle (filtered well water available)
•  Our walking meditation will be rain or shine, so please pack accordingly

Yoga mini-retreat – Stretching out the Summer

Don’t you wish summer would last forever? Before it slips away, let us pause to express our gratitude for the bounty of this season and the natural beauty of Willistown Conservation Trust’s conserved lands. Back by popular demand, Yoga Instructors Kristin Page and Rachael Hunter will help us stretch out this season of abundance, with a morning mediation and yoga practice in our air conditioned gathering room, a mindful walk through Rushton Woods Preserve, and healthy snacks prepared with freshly-picked ingredients from Rushton Farm.  

Suitable for all levels of practitioner, this half-day retreat will include yoga, a walking mediation through the Rushton Woods Preserve, farm-to-table treats, and tea.

Wellness Workshop: Sustainable Eating/Healing Foods

We continue our exploration of foods that help sustain us and our planet, with a talk and tasting from Sandra Gargus, Rushton Farm CSA Member and Integrative Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. We will learn about taking a holistic approach to eating, selecting foods that nourish us and taste delicious, too. Sandy will prepare several recipes for tasting, using produce from Rushton Farm and other local farms.
