Nature Photography Walk
Explore our preserves through the art of photography! David Hucker will lead us in the creative process as we learn to look deeply at the natural world. He will cover photography philosophy, camera techniques, and the art of composition. Please bring a digital, controllable camera, but cell phones are also acceptable. This preserve experience is suited for ages 16 and up.
Accessibility: Be prepared to do some light hiking throughout the trails of the Preserve. Walking will be slow paced with stops and starts for photography and instruction.
David Hucker was born in Berwyn and has always enjoyed walking the local countryside with a camera. While he spent his career caring for trees, he has always had a passion for capturing the beauty of nature. In retirement, he has taken his passion for photography to a professional level with his work now seen at regional and national juried art shows. David has enjoyed demonstrating to his friends and followers that you need not travel to the Rockies, the coast of Maine, or the Everglades to find art in nature. You can find beauty and peace, just by walking our neighborhood meadows.

David’s botanical work is also on display now through September 22nd at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens
