Grassland Birds of Stroud Preserve: A Collaboration with Natural Lands

Join Debbie Beer and Aaron Coolman in a bird walk around Natural Lands’ picturesque Stroud Preserve. This expansive, 571-acre property sustains more than 170 bird species, including Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlark, American Kestrel, Field Sparrow, and other grassland species. We’ll look for these and other migratory and resident birds while strolling along the trails.

Natural Lands and Willistown Conservation Trust have partnered in a grant funded by Cornell Lab of Ornithology to conserve habitat for grassland birds, document avian breeding activity, and educate the community. Debbie and Aaron will share information and highlight bird activity in this joint event.

Event capacity is limited. If you sign-up, please plan to participate. If you need to cancel, let us know asap so that another person may attend.
