Full moons happen every month (sometimes more!) but how often do we find darker sky and take in the wonders of nature at night? Join us at Rushton Woods Preserve and head outside during the darkest time of year to enjoy night sights, feel the crisp air, and maybe hear a cold owl’s hoot, all under the light of December’s full moon. Please come prepared for cold weather and with sturdy shoes. We will be walking in the dark (no flashlights!) with a few surprise activities to fully experience the magic and wonder of the nocturnal world. This is a family friendly event but please, no strollers. We will cancel this event for wet weather but will persevere through clouds.
