Full Moon Hike

Full moons happen every month (sometimes more!) but full moon hikes don’t come around too often. So here’s your excuse to head outside during the darkest time of year to enjoy night sights, feel the crisp air, and maybe hear a cold owl’s hoot, all under the light of December’s full moon. Please come prepared for cold weather and with sturdy shoes. We will be walking in the dark (no flashlights!) and conducting a couple “science experiments”. This is a family friendly event but unfortunately not stroller friendly. We will cancel this event for wet weather but will persevere through clouds.

The “science experiments” will be crunching those spearmint candies and watching the sparks in each others mouths and lighting a tea candle with one eye open to see the difference between “night sight” and regular sight. Thanks for your support!
