Virtual Cheese Tasting: Featuring 13th Street Cocktails, Birchrun Hills Farm, Conebella Farm and The Farm at Doe Run
The Trust has teamed up with local online “farmers market” Culinary Harvest and 13th Street Cocktails to create a special evening of drink shaking and Chester County cheese tasting, all from the comfort of your home! Master Cheesemaker and Culinary Harvest co-founder, Sam Kennedy will guide us through a special tasting of three Chester County cheeses: Fat Cat from Birchrun Hills Farm, Sharp Cheddar from Conebella Farm, and Black Swallowtail from The Farm at Doe Run. 13th Street Cocktails Spirit Master Aaron Gordon will educate us on the art of mixology and introduce us to his creation, The Apiary –made with Rushton Farm honey! We’ll sip and learn about sustainable dairy farming and how these practices contribute to watershed, soil health, and superior cheesemaking! Choose from a variety of two cheese boxes and register below.

2. CHOOSE YOUR CHEESEBOX | We have the Standard Cheese & Cocktail Box ($75) or the Premium Cheese & Cocktail Box ($85). Details for each are listed below. All orders must be placed by February 6, 2022 at 7 pm. This allows the producers enough time to gather your fresh products!
3. PICK UP | Your box will be available for pickup at the Rushton Conservation Center (915 Delchester Rd, Newtown Square) on Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 4 – 5:30 pm. Can’t make it during this time? Please reach out to Lindsay Martin Carlson at lmc@wctrust.org to coordinate a different time or to pickup at Culinary Harvest’s location: School Lane, Wayne. Boxes can be shipped along the East Coast! Contact Carlo directly at carlo@culinaryharvest.com to coordinate shipping your box if you’re not local *Shipping costs not included in price.

– Birchrun Hills Farm – Fat Cat
Description: Natural rind, semi-soft fudgy paste cheese that is earthy and tangy with a bright grassy finish. Plan out a fall dish using Fat Cat as your melter, it pairs perfectly with mushrooms!
