ABOUT OUR PARTNERS

Cadence – Husband and wife team Jonathan Nodler and Samantha Kincaid opened Cadence in the South Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia in 2018. Although they’ve modified their model over the past year, Chefs Nodler and Kincaid continue to source ingredients from producers whose practices they respect, including several PA farmers they’ve worked with for many years. In addition to offering a pick up dinner at the RCC, Cadence has reopened Thursday – Saturday for indoor and outdoor dining and NXTX BBQ on Sundays! Visit www.cadencerestaurant.com or follow them @cadencerestaurant to learn more.

North By Texas (NXTX) –  established in 2019 by Scott Hanson, a transplanted Texan and UT-Austin alum from the Austin, TX hill country who brought his love for Tex-Mex BBQ to Philadelphia. A history professor and director of a social justice program by day and pitmaster by night, he wants to rethink BBQ by only using ethically raised, certified humane meats from small farms to promote sustainability and better food. You can read more about his journey in the recent story by food critic Craig LaBan and follow @northbytexas on Instagram and Facebook.

Deer Creek Malthouse returns to Rushton Farm as a pop-up pick up location for their craft brews and other malt products! Deer Creek Malthouse produces high quality, flavorful, malt ingredients handcrafted using locally grown grain. Founded in 2012, Deer Creek Malthouse is committed to creating more sustainable malting infrastructure in Pennsylvania by adding value to grain for regional food and beverage artisans. We believe that truly amazing things can happen when you shorten the supply chain!
