Spring is coming and our preserves are ready for you and your family to explore! Meet at Rushton Farm and Rushton Woods Preserve for a family-friendly scavenger hunt or hike, then stay to picnic at the Rushton Conservation Center. Spread out your blanket and enjoy the sunset over Rushton Farm with your picnic, beverages, and friends.
Please note: no food trucks will be on-site for this event. Please bring in whatever picnic food you would like for your group. The Rushton Conservation Center will be open for restrooms, water bottle refills, and music. This is a free, family-friendly gathering.
PICNIC DETAILS
– Please bring your blanket, chairs, and other items to round out your picnic experience. A limited number of picnic tables are available on a first-come basis.
– Parking: Rushton Farm, 911 Delchester Road, Newtown Square PA (the farm is a short walk across the field to the picnic location)
– Dogs are not permitted at Rushton Farm and Rushton Woods Preserve. Please keep your furry friends at home.
– Rushton Farm is a working farm. We welcome families to attend this event, but please watch your young children to protect the well-being of the children and the farm.
