8th Annual Duck Hunt (with binoculars & scopes only!)
Birders of all skill levels and ages invited! We’re going to one of the best places in Southeast Pennsylvania for ducks, geese, herons, shorebirds and many other types of birds. The Refuge has convenient trails, viewing boardwalks and platforms all within 35 minutes of Willistown.
Optional bonus visits to other near-by birding hot spots, FDR Park and Navy Yard – time, interest and weather permitting.
Meet at the Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at 8:30. We will head into the refuge no later than 9:00 am. We will duck hunt until noon.
We encourage carpooling on your own to reduce our collective carbon footprint. You should pack a lunch and something to drink.
