Wildflower Week | Sponsored by GreenWeaver Landscapes | July 18 – 24

Get ready for Wildflower Week! This week — sponsored by GreenWeaver Landscapes — will highlight wild meadows and planned gardens to inspire you to create your own wildlife habitat, help conserve water, reduce erosion and greenhouse gas emissions. Tour locations are accessible dawn to dusk, and this year we have two ticket options: the self-guided tour and the guided tour!

When you purchase a $10 self-guided tour ticket to Wildflower Week, you get the following:

– Unlimited access to our wildflower meadows throughout the week (July 18 – 24), from dawn to dusk.

– Our digital Wildflower Week booklet, which includes information on our Wildflower Week tour stops, a wildflower planting guide, lots of planting tips, resources, and more! This will be your go-to resource for the self-guided tour.

– A Native Wildflower Seed packet to get started on your own meadow. Stop by the Rushton Conservation Center to grab yours!

When you purchase a $25 guided tour ticket to Wildflower Week, you get all of the above AND:

– A Guided Meadow Tour on Wednesday, July 20th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. This tour will begin at the Rushton Conservation Center (RCC), and other stops include a private wildflower meadow (not featured on the self-guided tour) and the Trust’s Hartman meadow. WCT staff will walk you through the meadows, answer questions, and ID plants and insects. We will end the evening at the RCC to enjoy light refreshments as we learn about the demonstration Rain Garden and the more formal plantings around the RCC. Space is limited on this tour. Important Note: You will need to drive to each stop on this guided tour.
