Spend your morning at the Rushton Conservation Center learning to craft fire cider, a traditional folk remedy for immune support. This workshop will be led by Rabia Jones, a Clinical Herbalist, and will go through the history of fire cider and how it can help support the body through cough, congestion, colds, and flus. We will discuss the medicinal properties of each ingredient, and you’ll have the chance to create your own fire cider to take home with you. All materials will be provided, and we encourage you to bring a journal to take notes. There will be time a Q&A session at the end of the workshop, so bring your questions!

This workshop is limited to 12 people. Attendees will be seated around the kitchen bar at the Rushton Conservation Center on stools with no backs. Light refreshments will be provided, and a water bottle refill station will be available on-site.
