Family Preserve Hike: Winter Bird Count
Join Blake Goll, Education Programs Manager, and Win Shafer, Bird Conservation Committee member, and avid birder, for winter birding at Rushton Woods Preserve. Learn how to perform your own backyard bird count, why counting birds and submitting your sightings is important, and what birds spend their winters here in Willistown. This event is appropriate for all ages. We have a few binoculars to borrow, but please bring your own if you have them.

-Please park in the spaces provided at The Rushton Woods Preserve and Rushton Farm, 911 Delchester Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
-The trails can be muddy and uneven, so please remember appropriate footwear.
-Please maintain 6′ social distancing from other groups.
-Masks are required for this guided walk.
-If you feel unwell or are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms please stay home and help keep our community safe.
