Join the Stewardship and Watershed Programs and make a difference in planting trees in the Ridley Creek Watershed! Bring shoes and clothes that can get dirty, work gloves, water, and snacks. We will provide the remaining necessary supplies to plant trees at Deer Field Knoll, along Hillside Run, a tributary of Ridley Creek. This event is rain or shine, but in the case of severe weather, registrants will be notified. The rain date for this tree planting will be October 30 through November 1.
Things to Bring:
-Please dress appropriately for outdoor activity, wear shoes, and clothes that can get dirty
-Please bring work gloves, a water bottle, and snacks
“If all trees are planted before the final scheduled shifts, volunteers will be notified.”
Waivers are required for all volunteers. All youth volunteers must have their Parent or Legal Guardian complete the Registration and Waiver.
